KOTITI Testing & Research Institute (chairman Jung Soo Kim) held an opening ceremony of
KOTITI Bangladesh Ltd. in Radisson hotel in Dhaka, October 30th 2013.
The ceremony have been performed successfully with the attendance of VIPs including Mr.
Jung Soo Kim(chairman of KOTITI), Mr. Young Ryul Kim(President), Mr. Sang Rag Lee (Vice
President), Mr. Joon Kim(chairman of Spinners & Weavers Association of Korea), Mr. Tae
Jin Kang(Professor of Seoul National University), Mr. Dilip Barua(minister of Bangladesh
Ministry of Industries), Mr. Yun Young Lee(ambassador of Republic of Korea in Bangladesh)
and Mr. Jin Hak Hur(director of KOTRA in Dhaka). Also more than 130 VIPs from enterprises
and association including Naved Hussaiin(CEO of BEXIMCO), Mr. David Mellet(Executive
director of Matalan), Mr. Mohammad Hatem(Vice chairman of BKMEA), Mr. Md. Shahidullah
Azim(Vice chairman of BGMEA) have joined the opening ceremony and graced the occasion
with their presence.
Especially, Matalan, global distribution enterprise, have awarded KOTITI Bangladesh as a
superior laboratory certification during the ceremony. And the ribbon cutting and lab tour
have been performed after opening ceremony in Radisson hotel.
KOTITI Bangladesh Ltd is located in Dhaka, Uttara area with more than 72 types, 90 modern
equipment, 26 excellent personnel. KOTITI Bangladesh, aiming to support testing,
inspection, analyzing hazardous substances, Trouble shooting services to more than 150
Korean vendors, is the first Korean testing & inspection institute in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, KOTITI is starting to open its new laboratories in Shanghai in the face, operating
corporations and offices in 5 countries, 11 regions including China, Indonesia, Bangladesh,
Vietnam an d Myanmar. By constructing extensive global network, KOTITI is aiming for global
testing & inspection institute to support not only Korean corporations in overseas but also
national industrial competitiveness.
