KOTITI Testing & Research Institute (chairman Jung Soo Kim) held an MOU signing ceremony with Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research (SQI) in September 26th 2014. Since 2008, KOTITI have continued amicable relationship with Shanghai Institute of Fiber Inspection (SIFI) about the Chinese national standard (GB) based on business agreement. But to actively react to the recent change of Chinese policy, it was unavoidable for KOTITI to expand the work scope with national testing institute, SQI. By this MOU, KOTITI and SQI agreed to interchange information regarding not only textile but also wide range of consumer products. MOU signing ceremony was held in SQI with Mr. Young Ryul Kim (President, KOTITI), Mr. Sang Rag Lee (Vice President, KOTITI), Mr. Ji Fei(President, SQI), Mr. Lu Lin Hua(Vice President, SQI). SQI is the national testing institute with the wide business lines from textile to food, cosmetic, building materials, E&E and etc. As SQI is holding qualification to inspect/investigate goods on the market performs, SQI plays a pivotal role in Chinese quality control area. KOTITI now plans to actively react to the needs of the Korean clients in the Chinese market by this cooperation with SQI. As KOTITI and SQI are sharing similar business lines in Korea and China, both institutes are wishing to build up more firm cooperation.
