A review of automatic cutting systems and auxiliary equipment of rconverting knit apparel exhibited at the 1993 International Clothing machine Fair in Cologne consist of profiles of offerings from various textile machinery manufacturers. Auxiliary equipment for laying machines included the latest version of the Textile Defense Scanner from Kuris, a compouter controlled fault handling system; the Transroll R 400, a remote controlled fabric roll magazine with revolving changer from Bullmer; and Robby, a fabric roll handling robot from Setec. Pattern laveling and marking machines included the Market MNC 2080 from Bullmer and the Gerber labeler. Cutting systems included Eastmen's Wheel Cutter, Investronica's piercing blade cutter, the ZAT III and ZAT IV cutter from Kuris, and the Vector range of laser cutters from Lectra. 5 refs.
