Energy Conservation in the Textile Industry.

In Spain, small and medium size companies have made a tremendous effort to compete in European markets. One factor in this effort has been price, particulary the price of energy. An overview of the situation focuses on saving energy in manufacturing processes and specding the least amount of money on energy. Factors considered include heat and energy losses, consumption by electric motors and lighting, and energy production, particularly cogeneration and solar energy.
