Aquafilm Limted. based in the United Kingdom, recently introuced a water soluble polyvinyl alcohol film bag to eliminate the handing of potentially hazardous dyes and pigments. The bags contain premeasured dye formulations and dissolve completely after they are added to the bath, releasing the dye. The bags are nontoxic, fully biodegradable, and meet all recent COSHH environmental specifications. Aquafilm's agent WTM distributes the bags to leading dyehouses throughout Europe.
