Manmade fiber producers are increasingly automating their lines. In response to this trend, Barmag exgibited several lines of automated textile machines used in filament yarn processing, which could be linked to form a fully automated production facility. Central to this system is the accurate and reliable tracking of each yarn package from spinning through winding, finishing, and delivery. Continuous monitoring is critical to the fully automated production facility. Individually automated machines include the CRAFT winding machine, the CD83 doffer used on FK series texturing machines, AFK texturing machines, and the WD5 doffer. A monorail systme transports yarn packages for inspection, storage, downstream processing, or packing for shipment.
