Polypropylene use in apparel grows

In creased demands for polypropylene in apparel fabrics are expected in response to the growing availability of high quality finer-denier filament and spun yarns. This was a major conclusion of round-table discussion sponsored by the American Polyolefin Association held on October 28, 1993 in New York. Advantages of polypropylene in this product area are discussed. Recent product developments and applications are also outlined.
