The article, representing the second part of a series, explanins the content of DIN ISO standards 9000-9004 for quality management: 9000 describes the general principles of qulity management, 9001-9003 cover steps to demonstrate qulity and 900r gives recommendations for setting up a QM system. The paper also presents a glossary of the main terms concerning the subject of qulity. The DIN IsO standards do not provide one standardized QM system. A QM system should be specific to the firm and should depend on the aims of the firm, the product and working and origanizational practices.
