Mexico's largest denim producer, Compania Industrial de Parras SA (CIPSA), is profiled. The company has recently entered into an agreement with Cone Mills Corp of the USA, the world's largest denim manufacturer to establish a new mnaufacturing operation, creating almost 1500 new jobs. Current operations at parras (Mexico), equipment used, and plans for the joint venture with Cone are described in detail.
