The para-aramid high strength low elongation protective clothing fibre Twaron is mainly employed under high temperature conditions. Mixed p-aramid/Preox 30/70 and p-aramid/PBE 60/40 weaves are used in aircraft seat fire blocking layers. Multi-layer Twaron woven flexible compensators absorbin axial and radial vibrations of pipelines further exemplify uses.
