The Pakistan Central Cotton Committee received a new variety of American upland cotton seed called Chandni in order to conduct its own evaluation process. After completing the evaluation, it will be sent to the Provincial Seed Council for approval. Chandni has high yielding potential, heat tolerance and early maturing capabilities with staple length ranging from 27mm to 28mm.
