Du Pont's Nomex Delta Micro 0.78 dtex aramid fiber offers excellent resistance to high temperatures. In filters, Nomex Delta Micro combines a high separation efficiency and low differential pressure to achieve improved surface filtration at low costs. The ultrafine fiber enables the development of dense, microporous, needled felts with excellent dust filtration performance. Long term tests, which compared Nomex Delta Micro with conventional Nomex and the other meta-aramid filter felts, revealed a singificant improvement in dust leakage values for the Delta Micro fiber products.
