The World Wide Web (WWW) links together nearly 2 million computers and is accessed by more than 65 million people. At least 80,000 sites on the WWW refer to cotton. Many of these sites are linked to the newly established Cotton Australia home page, the result of a collaboration between The Australian Cottongrower and Aginfotech. The home page offers the cotton industry links to the most important WWW cotton sites in Australia and internationally. The Cotton Australia home page will become an electronic magazine for the cotton industry. It will include the latest industry news, new products and specials from industry suppliers, and complete listings of contacts for grower associations, consulting, organizations, and governments.
