Process optimization and raw material selection in cotton spinning (German)

The raw material represents half the costs in spinning. Therefore economic success in spinning is decisively affected by better mateial utilization and control over the process. The removal of impurities such as trash, seed coats and foreign fibres and the elimination/reduction of stickiness are discussed. Cleaning and cotton carding machines are examined briefly.
