Current situation in the recycling of smallwares [narrow fabrics]

The whole area of recycling is examined with reference to the narrow fabrics industry. Different types of textile waste recycling and the processes available to achieve them are described. The economic and energy-saving aspects are taken into account, and the future, it is suggested, lies in more compatible technology, better separation techniques, new developments in chemicals and new dye stripping techniques.
