STUDY ON THE RELIABILITY DESIGN OF THE FUNDAMENTAL FEEDING-END CAPACITY IN THE PROCESS OF AUTOMATIC SILK REELING

The feeding-end design of an automatic silk reeling machine was analyzed, focusing on three parameters. F(cm), the mechanlcal capacity for controlling the size of raw silk; F(cc), the mechanical capacity for correcting the maximum number of feeding-end requirement; and F(cb), the capacity for producing cocoons with real ends. An analysis was conducted to match the rellability of the designed process control with standard probability functions. Such functions gave accurate results when a computational model of the system was also represented, and an additional reliability parameter, R(x), was introduced to correct the relation among the capacities of F(cm), F(cc), and F(cb). 4 refs.
