Unicate Network Incorporated developed the Textile Information Management System (TIMS) for companies intrested in buying, selling, and marketing. With a computer, modem, and software to access the Internet, TIMS users can contact suppliers or customers anywhere in the world. TIMS features a worldwide directory to the textile industry, updated information on textile companies, new products and technologies, listings of trade shows and exhibitions, a classified ads section for buying and selling, marketing information, and employment listings. Unicate plans to update TIMS with electronic data interchange and video conferencing.
