Effect of compacting on the condition of raw cotton during long-term storage (Russian)

The effect of compacting on fibre length and the density of cotton bales during storage is investigated. To maintain the correct fibre length and cotton quality the bale density must not exceed 250 kg/㎥. A uniform bale density is also desirable.
