selected methods of cleanness evaluation of electronic components

describes two methods of quantitative evaluation of surface contaminants left after cleaning process. the first method relates to the estimation of wettability by contact angle measurement (with contact angle goniometer), the other is based on the measurement of frequency change of quartz probe due to various surface contaminants. for both methods experimental procedure as well as test results have been presented. the properties and the usefulness of both methods for effectiveness evaluation of various cleaning procedures of quartz crystal wafers during crystal resonators fabrication process have been discussed
