these papers are from the most recent work of atira. it will be seen from the titles that there is a common theme running through most of them, namely, achievements of economy through the improvements in productivity and quality and the minimization of waste in the textile industry. it will be seen that while the accent is on better utilization of technology that is already available, some papers also deal with radically new technology which has been developed in atira or elsewhere
