studies have been conducted to improve the enzyme ticket developed for use in the water test kit for chemical agents in water. a new eel cholinesterase ticket has been developed which uses an anion exchange paper as the support for the enzyme. glass fiber filter papers have been investigated as possible supports for enzyme or substrate for use in enzyme tickets. n-tris(hydroxymethyl) -methyl-2-aminoethanesulfonic acid (tes) buffer has been suggested as a possible replacement for 1,4-bis(3-sulfopropyl) piperazine (pipps) buffer in the enzyme tickets.
