enzyme technology digest, an information exchange in enzyme technology, is issued three times a year. this issue includes a feature article on the utilization of agricultural wastes--the enzymatic hydrolysis of matrix polysaccharides. a meeting report on the symposium on chemistry and applications of coenzymes and coenzyme analogs is presented. presentation titles from the meeting include, among others, conjugated artificial proteins; semisynthetic covalent enzyme-coenzyme complexes; limitations in the enzyme utilization of macromolecular-nad+; coenzyme regeneration in biomedical applications of immobilized enzymes; electrochemical regeneration of redox cofactors; enzymatic epoxidation of olefins; and cofactor recycling in a hollow fiber dehydrogenase reactor. also included are publication announcements, dissertations, new items, new patents, and continuation grants.
