thermal insulation materials for agricultural dewars for use in artificial insemination of agricultural animals were investigated the materials were based on paper with a variety of filler materials including basalt, synthetic, and organic fibers. the materials based on synthetic and basalt fibers have a high efficiency, although paper made from the basalt fibers has low mechanical strength. an estimate is presented of the heat leakage through the neck and through the insulation of the dewars. 7 refs
