surface treatment of elementary glass filaments determines the wettability and impregnability of reinforcing material, and good wettability is a necessary condition for ensuring a high adhesive strength on the glass-polymer interface. the effect of surface treatment on the strength of fiber glass plastics with different types of loading for positive temperatures has been relatively well studied. the dependences of the strength of fiber glass plastics at low temperatures and their resistance to thermal shocks on the composition of the lubricant have virtually not been investigated the effect of three types of lubricants on the strength of fiber glass plastics at temperatures of 293 and 77 $degree$ k and their resistance to thermal shocks are investigated in the present study. 4 refs
