glass fiber reinforced polyamide (of itamid 35 type) was subjected to diffusive stabilization with hydroquinone and potassium iodide. unreinforced (of tarnamid t-27 type) was subjected to combined modification by diffusive stabilization and burnishing by vibratory shot peening. the best improvement of the tribological properties was obtained by diffusive stabilization with hydroquinone (for itamid 35) and by a combination of vibratory shot peening and diffusive stabilization with potassium iodide (for tarnamid t-27) (edited author abstract) 4 refs. in polish
