with nickel-coated textile structures, in particular woven fabrics, it is possible to increase the interlaminar bond strength of high -performance composites, to improve the reflection and screening behavior in the microwave range and to use corresponding products even as a lightning protection medium. composite structures containing nickel-coated rovings and/or woven fabrics have clearly increased the compressive and interlaminar shear strength.
