triblock copolymer, poly(4-vinylbenzyldimethylamine-b-isoprene -b-tert-butyl-4-vinylphenyl sulfide) was prepared by sequential anionic polymerization method. film specimens of this sample show a clear three-layer lamellar structure. each film was subjected to chemical modifications: quaternization, cross-linking, and elimination of tert-butyl group. the microdomain structure was retained after the modifications. it is concluded that it is possible to prepare a charge-mosaic membrane from the above triblock copolymer.
