electroforming is a modern technique for the production of complicated structures. the following applications are discussed: electroforming of combustion chambers, fabrication of concentrators for solar energy plants, production of water-cooled screens, boxes and targets for nuclear fusion experiments, fabrication of compact wind tunnel models, wave guide electroforming, and large scale fabrication of erosion protection shapes for aeroplanes. the composition of nickel and copper electroforming solutions, bath parameters and process technology are discussed in detail.
