in this work the strength of a slip notch adhesive bond is examined. under load, high stress peaks are created at the ends of the joint section. because of the low shear stiffness of the fiber reinforced plastics the individual layers in the laminated plastic move against each other under the load. this causes diminishing of the stress peaks and increase of the breaking load. the experimental data are correlated with breaking load and deformation factor of one homogeneous material (steel) and one laminated (carbon, kevlar) (translated author abstract) 7 refs. in german
