the institute for research, production, and application of radioisotopes, uvvvr, is at the present time equipped with two large cobalt gamma sources, perun and radegast, and with the small laboratory source gammacell 220. the capacity of these radiation sources is about 50 used for contract and service irradiations (e g. for the radiation sterilization of various biochemical and medical materials, for irradiations for the textile industry, irradiation of abrasives, disinfection of wooden objects of art, etc) . the radiation facilities of uvvvr, the sources perun, radegast, and gammacell 220, their construction, exploitation capabilities, and dosimetric systems are described. 7 refs
