single filament pull-out tests on uncoated kevlar/epoxy resin composites have already been studied by l. s. penn and s. m. lee this note presents the debonding and pull-out properties of the coated kevlar/epoxy resin composites using single strand pull-out experiments. the fundamental properties such as mode ii fiber debond toughness, specific pull-out work, interfacial bond strength and frictional strength are obtained for the two types of coating materials used, i. e. , a silicone vacuum fluid svf-200 and a polyurethane varnish estapol-7008, as a function of both pull-out rate and temperature. 4 refs
