crystallization of cellulose from low dp acetylated hydrolyzed bagasse pulp has been studied. the morphology of the crystals obtained ater cryatallization at 50 $degree$ c for different intervals of time (5, 20 and 40 days) revealed needle-shaped, elongated, ribbonlike fibrous crystals. the electron diffraction pattern obtained on these crystals was typical of cellulose ii lattice.
