the phase diagram and results from magnetic susceptibility measurements in the isotropic phase are presented for the lyotropic liquid crystal cesium perfluoro octanoate $plus$ water in the presence of an added salt cscl. based upon the evolution of the cotton-mouton coefficient and in the context of an onsager-type calculation we speculate on the micellar conformation as a function of electrolyte concentration.
