Sticky cottons: solving processing problems for competitive benefits

Even today, spinning mills have to establish their own know-how in order to better process cotton that contains honey dew. Consideration has to be given to the general set-up, such as climate and available machinery, and a reasonable share of sticky cotton should be selected in the blend to achieve a noticeable economic advantage without being handicapped by poor running behaviour of the machines. As machine builders, we can support the customer by keeping a broad field of application in mind when develping the machine. For cotton processing, this means an increased ratio of sticky cotton in the blend. The cleaners of the 'Cleanomat' series and the DK 803 card are convincing proof that this is still possible even under today's conditions in the spinning mills.
