This article describes the availability of information on narrow textiles on the Internet. It describes the search engines used and the information that can be gained from carrying out a search from them. It also recommends some of the pages set up by particular information providers which have the disadvantage of being pay per view services. It concludes with the advice that it would be an advantage for German companies to set up pages on the web if a textile search engine is established under German management.
