Sant'Andrea Novara has developed production systems for fine and extra-fine wool fibers in the range Nm 60 to 100. These counts are processed on specially equipped machines for blending, re-combing, third and fourth passage preparation, and finishing. The line also includes machines for reduction, first passage can delivery, second passage finishing, and first and second passage preparation. Results from Uster irregularity testing indicate that yarn quality is significantly improved with this line.
