a comprehensive characterization of the spinning dope is extremely important in lyocell technology. Particle analysis by laser diffraction provides one method for description of the state of dissolution of cellulose/NMMO solutions in addition to microphoto and rheological investigations. This article provides methods and results of experiments of analysis of optical concentration, particle content, particle distribution and filtration of cellulose/NMMO solutions.
