The rheological and thermal behaviors of graphite fiber/high-temperature composite were investigated for their application in the aerospace industry. The treatment of prepregs at elevated temperatures before composite fabrication was found to minimize the formation of voids and blisters and yield composites of excellent quality and reproducibility. 3 refs.
