For suppliers to nonwovens, the decrease in cotton prices is a help in the constant need to compete with low-priced synthetics. The use of cotton is being promoted worldwide, although the single largest buyer of us exports this year is Mexico. The health and personal care market still has great potential for increased use of cotton fibers.
