According to Gunther Beier, a member of Bremer Woll-Kammerei's Board of Management, the most recent apparel shows presented fabrics with a high wool content. Despite the lack of promotion by leading wool associations, trends toward more formal dress should generate sustained demand for wool for the foreseeable future. Since the late 1990s, the market for wool tops has become increasingly competitive and demand for fine and superfine wools has increased.
