The aims and philosophy behind the development of Filifine fibres by Tergal Fibres are presented. The fibre has a diameter of 9 um and can be blended easily with both natural and synthetic fibres. Particular attention was paid to developing a fibre which was soft, comfortable to wear, and which would dry quickly. Other important properties include its visual characteristics and natural look. It lends itself particularly well for use in lingerie, men's and women's shirts, and net curtains.
