This section of the work devoted to the application of photomicrography in the textile industry deals with aramid fibres such as Kevlar and Nomex (DuPont), super fibres such as Kevlar (DuPont), Twaron (Acordis), Technora (Teifing) and others. Technora fibre is described in some detail: fibre production, properties, transversal section, chemical properties and staining, and many photomicrographs of the fibre are presented.
