In October 1993, Rieter introduced a new system for yarn package handling and transprot. The CUBIcan system consists of an RSB851 drawing frame, an automatic guided vehicle, and an R1 rotor spinning machine. This system allows completely automated production from drawing to spinning. CUBIcan's unique, rectangular yarn packages also offer significant cost reduction by optimizing the quantity of yarn and the number of yarn packages in process.
