Electro-Jet's TAC and TAB systems automatically convey roving bobbins between the speedframe and the ring spinning frame, completely eliminating any manual operations and thereby minimizing damage to the roving bobbins. The TAC system has two separate, continuously rotating chain circuits for transporting roving bobbins. One circuit is adjacent to the spinning frames, the other to the speedframes. The full bobbins are automatically exchanged for empty bobbins at a transfer unit. The TAB system consists of a series of monorails, a tractor unit and bobbin holder units. An interim storage zone for both full and empty bobbins links the speedframes to the ring spinning frames. A self requlating motor drives the tractor unit, which receives signals about the status of the bobbins.
