The use of Loepfe MillMaster and YarnMaster systems to ensure high quality production in integrated spinning mills is described. The MillMaster is a PC-based data acquisition system for the winding department which also comunicates with the Yarn Master defect clearing system. The combined system provides data on rare and frequent yarn defects.
