At ITMA 1995, Rosink GmbH demonstrated a variety of spinning preparation machines, including the RS manual can coiling machine, RS KWR automatic can coiling machine, and Rosink can transport system. Both the RS and RS KWR sliver can coiling machines are suitable for carding machines, drafting machines, and combing machines having can diameters of between 400 and 1,200 millimeters. The Rosink coiling machines can process slivers of all conventional fibers in weights of between 1.5 grams and 50 grams per meter. The features of the RS and RS KWR machines include independent servo drives for both the coiler and turntable, a patented sliver separation system that allows cutting of the sliver at full delivery speed with reproducible position control of the sliver end, and a patented low maintenance pressure roller drive. Rosink also demonstrated its newly patented can transport system with push turn rods activated by pneumatic cylinders.
