The aim for producing siro spun yarns in spinning frame was to shorten the process, lower production costs, increase productivity and enhance yarn quality. Siro spun yarns are less hairy, smoother in appearance, with better abrasion resistance and less pilling. With these properties, it is worthwhile exploring summer-wear fabrics and promoting this spinning technique to textile industries.
