The Rieter Uniblend A 80 blending/batching machine processes cotton and manmade fiber blends, cotton blends of various origin, waste and other short and long staple fibers, linen fibers, and animal fibers up to 65 millimeters long. It is available with two to eight blending modules and outputs of up to 300 kilograms per hour per module. four separate cards can be linked to the machine and are individually fed from different blends of the same raw material. The machine is suitable for four major applications: high volume blends, such as 50/50 cotton/ polyester; exotic fibers, colored cotton fibers, and uneven blending ratios for fancy effects; recycled waste fibers; and cotton from different sources. The Uniblend system creates highly homogeneous and accurate blends.
