The Scottish Woollens Group is installing some of the equipment that was particularly impressive at ITMA 95. Tony Taylor, Chairman of the woven division, said that the investment in Bigagli electronic mules, to be installed by the end of september, will replace the older mule plant. Many customers insist on mulespun yarns due to the better quality and low pilling. The entire investment programme is aimed at improving the service offered to customers.
