Rieter's Spincontrolcenter II (SCC II) is profiled. The SCC II is a fully programmable process control unit designed to electronically coordinate and supervise the operation of Rieter's RU 14, RU 14-A, and R 1 series rotor spinning machines. The unit is capable of interfacing with other computer systems. The SCC II rapldly analyzes incoming data, allowing it to detect bobbin faults and yarn faults, which are registered according to type in relation to the spinning position; change the input/output speeds of all machines in the production line;save previous operational parameters in its memory; and integrate the functions of pre- and post-processing machinery with the production line.
